PRO-TEK’s asset management platform tracks asset location, status, and movement across an integrated set of physical & digital environments.

Assets are labeled with barcodes at whatever level of detail is desired by customers:

Assets are logged into PRO-TEK’s Asset Management System (and/or customer’s Asset System if desired).

All asset movement and physical locations are logged & tracked throughout the life of the asset.

PRO-TEK’s asset management platform also tracks asset ownership.

Access rights are rigorously enforced via:

Chain of custody documentation
Security protocols that integrate chain of custody permissions with access to assets

PRO-TEK does not share data with third parties about assets held in storage, as archive anonymity is critical to our customers.

Our film inspection, cleaning and repair services and expertise are available even if you do not store film within our vaults.

Until you connect with a PRO-TEK expert, follow these guidelines for your nitrate film assets:

Keep the ambient temperature as cool and consistent as possible, below 70 degrees F. Nitrate-base film is highly flammable at temperatures around 100 degrees F and cannot be extinguished once ignited.
Keep the relative humidity between 30-40%.
Do not store in non-ventilated or sealed containers (like taped cans or boxes) and keep the storage area well-ventilated.
Do not store close to vents, ducts or other heat sources.
Segregate nitrate film from other media like acetate or polyester film and paper.
